Sara Bareilles Heading To San Diego: Dates, Tickets
The Grammy-nominated singer Sara Bareilles announced dates for her new "Amidst The Chaos Tour" on Monday. Here's how you can catch her live.

SAN DIEGO, CA β Sara Bareilles, the Grammy-nominated singer known for mega-hits such as βLove Song,β βBrave,β and βKing Of Anything,β has announced new tour dates. And San Diego is on the list.
Fresh off her performance on Saturday Night Live, Bareilles announced on Monday that her new βAmidst The Chaos Tourβ will hit 27 cities across the country, including Detroit, Nashville, Raleigh, Boston, New York, Chicago, St. Paul, Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Jacksonville, Orlando and Atlanta.

The jaunt, which officially kicks off Oct. 5 in Detroit and ends Nov. 26 in Atlanta, will celebrate her recently released studio album βAmidst The Chaos,β according to Billboard. Bareilles sang two songs from the album on SNL.
Bareilles, now 39, was born in Eureka, California, and shot to fame in 2008 with βLove Song,β on her album βLittle Voice.β The track peaked at No. 1 on the charts on March 15, 2008, and earned Bareilles her first Grammy nomination for song of the year and best female pop vocal performance.

Since then, Bareilles has earned five more Grammy nominations, including best pop solo performance for her hit song βBrave,β which peaked at No. 3 in November 2013.
Most recently, Bareilles received a Grammy nod last year for best musical theater album for βJesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert.β Bareilles played Mary Magdalene in NBCβs live-TV version of the rock opera.
