Scooter Riders Strucker By Hit-And-Run SUV Driver In San Diego
Police are looking for a Ford SUV with front-end damage following a hit-and-run collision in downtown San Diego Monday.
SAN DIEGO, CA β The driver of a Ford SUV struck two people riding scooters and fled the scene early Monday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department. Both scooter riders suffered serious injuries Monday morning.
The crash occurred at 4:07 a.m. in the area of Market and 13th streets in downtown San Diego, according to a watch commander at the San Diego Police Department.
The victims were rushed by paramedics to an area hospital. Police are looking for the Ford SUV, and they believe it may have sustained some front-end damages, according to sources at the scene.
