Wind Advisory In Effect for San Diego County's Deserts, Mountains
The National Weather Service said gusts could blow around unsecured objects, power lines and tree limbs, and affect high-profile vehicles.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA β A wind advisory is in effect for San Diego County's desert and mountain areas until 5 a.m. Tuesday, a National Weather Service forecaster said Monday.
Winds are expected to range between 25 and 35 mph, with gusts to 55 mph, Miguel Miller said.
"We also have isolated spots that are really windy, and those could have gusts up to 75 mph," Miller added.
The NWS said gusts could blow around unsecured objects, power lines and tree limbs, and affect high-profile vehicles. Blowing dust can reduce visibility on the roads and disrupt travel. The wind advisory was first issued at 9 p.m. Sunday.
