Wind Advisory Extended For San Diego County Mountains And Deserts
The advisory warns that high wind speeds could blow down tree limbs and knock down power lines, potentially causing outages.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA β A wind advisory for the San Diego County mountains and deserts has been extended until midnight Thursday evening, the National Weather Service said.
West winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 55 mph, were expected. They are expected to be strongest through sunrise, then again Thursday evening.
The original advisory had been expected to expire at 6 a.m. Thursday.
