Congratulations to these Local Students

These local students are excelling at their respective universities:

• Berklee College of Music announces that Spencer Andrews of Fairfax has earned placement on the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2011 academic year. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.

• Loyola Marymount University has announced the students named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2011 semester. Students named to the Dean's list have completed 15 semester hours at LMU and earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better. Additionally, a student must have completed all of his or her courses and never received an F in any course. Among them are several local students:

1. Sean Dowd, of Fairfax
2. Emily Ludlow, of San Anselmo
3. Edward Mosley, of San Anselmo
4. Alexis Sherer, of San Anselmo
5. Liam Shorrock, of San Anselmo

• Sarah Arndt, a member of the class of 2014 at Skidmore College, earned term honors for the fall semester. She is the daughter of John and Leslie Arndt of San Anselmo. Term honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.6 from a possible 4.0, for students who have completed 14 credit hours.

• Tufts University recently announced the Dean's List for the Fall 2011 semester. Dean's List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. Among these students are: Sarah Strand of San Anselmo, CA, class of 2014.
