Ross Valley Kids Excel in College

These local students are excelling at their respective universities:

• The following students have earned placement on Gonzaga University's President's List: Hope Keaney, a resident of San Anselmo. Gina Vanni, a resident of Fairfax. Students must earn a 3.7 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed. 

• Gabriela Crawford Schneider of San Anselmo was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Schneider is a graduate of Marin Academy and is enrolled in the university's College of Arts & Sciences. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

• The following local residents were named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List: Janet M. Scott, a resident of Fairfax, and Diane M. Boodrookas, a resident of San Anselmo. To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).

These other local kids made the Dean's Lists at their universities.
