Please take notice that on March 9, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., in the Ross Valley School District Board Room, 110 Shaw Drive, San Anselmo, California 94960, the District’s Board of Education will conduct a public hearing and consider adopting a resolution proposing to establish a qualified special tax to be submitted for voter approval on June 5, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $700 per year (estimated annual collection of $5,000,000) for a period not to exceed 10 years for a variety of educational programs, including the maintenance of programs in math, science, reading, writing, art, music, as well as for the retention of qualified teachers and keeping schools safe and clean, and guaranteeing an exemption for certain seniors and disabled persons.
