FRIDAY:

Check out the Ross Valley Players opening night of November. The show will run through October, but what night is better than opening night.

• Where: 30 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard (Held in the Barn Theater at the Marin Art and Garden Center)
• Time: 8-10 p.m.

• The Ross Valley Players will be holding the opening night for their production of November. Join fellow fans of the theater and show your support for the players at this kickoff performance of a great new show!

SATURDAY:

Don't miss the final screening of Film Night in the Park for the summer. The special anniversary showing of Empire Strikes Back will feature comments from Ben Burtt before.

• Where: Creek Park, Sir Francis Drake and Center Boulevards
• Time: 8 p.m.

• Film Night in the Park presentations are presented at Creek Park and other venues around the Bay Area. Catch a classic, cult or family film outdoors at a community parks in Marin or San Francisco.
  
  On Saturday, Creek Park will host a special screening of Empire Strikes Back! Sure to be a crowd pleaser this is one night of free fun at the park that you and your friends and family don't want to miss. 

SUNDAY:

Whether you're a Fairfax resident or not, the Fairfax Town Picnic will offer fun and old-fashioned games for everyone. 

• Where: Bolinas Park, at the ballfield, Fairfax
• Time: noon to 5 p.m.

• All residents (and visitors) are welcome to the 5th annual town-wide picnic at the ballfield, including games and activities, local art in the making, neighborhood groups, yummy food for sale or bring your own picnic. Cut down on waste: bring your own water bottle, bike parking available. Live music by Revolver. And at5 p.m. join in the final tug-of-war! Sorry - no dogs please. Join us for fun with your families!
