Camp Fairfax Emphasizes Community
The camp will be held July 26 to Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
FAIRFAX, CA —Camp Fairfax has involved in the 12 years since its inception, but the summer program’s emphasis on building community has remained a consistent theme, town officials said.
The two-week camp for kids aged 6 to 10 will include teambuilding games and activities throughout each week highlighted by a weekly Friday water play of running through sprinklers on the ballfield and balloon toss.
Each week the camp will focus on a different theme. Week 1 will emphasize the arts and week 2 the natural environment and music.

The camp will also include storytelling, trust and kindness games.
“We place heavy emphasis on community building scaffolding age ranges so campers can learn from each other and build confidence through collaboration,” town officials said.

The camp will be held July 26 to Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The camp will cost $980 for those who register before the July 1 Early Bird deadline.
It will cost an additional $100 for those who register after July 1.
A $20 fee will be assessed for families who withdraw their child for any reason.
