CHP to Hold Teen Driving Class in Corte Madera

The class is set for Wednesday, April 24.

Marin teens can get an up-close look at the dangers of driving at a CHP-hosted class April 24 in Corte Madera. 

The goal of the free class is to reduce the number of teen driving-related injuries and deaths on the roads, according to a press release. 

The Start Smart Class is a collaborative effort among Marin California Highway Patrol, law enforcement agencies, teens and their parents and guardians.

"The leading cause of death for Americans 15-20 years old is motor vehicle collision," according to the release. "The goal of this class is to help young drivers and their parents understand the responsibilities associated with driving a motor vehicle."
