Coronavirus In Marin County: 13 Cases In San Anselmo-Fairfax
There are now 170 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Marin County.
SAN ANSELMO-FAIRFAX, CA — The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus has climbed to 170 in Marin County. Of the cases, 13 are residents in the San Anselmo-Fairfax area.
Six new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday, while the death toll remained at 10 in the county.
A total of 29 people have been hospitalized due to the virus since the county's first COVID-19 case was reported on March 8. To date, the majority of confirmed cases and hospitalizations have been residents 50 or older. All coronavirus-related deaths have been residents 65 or older.

Marin has tested 2,145 people for COVID-19. This number includes tests conducted at the county's drive-thru testing site as well as tests conducted by commercial labs and hospitals.

Last week, the county began sharing geographic regions for confirmed COVID-19 cases in Marin. The data has been broken down to reflect the number of cases in six separate locations: West Marin, Central Marin, Southern Marin, San Rafael, Novato and San Anselmo/Fairfax. Only communities with more than 20,000 people are listed separately on the county's virus data website.
As of Monday, West Marin had fewer than 10 cases, Central Marin had 37 cases, Southern Marin had 41 cases, San Rafael had 43 cases, Novato had 33 cases, and San Anselmo and Fairfax had 13 cases.
