Fairfax ‘BioBlitz’ Postponed

BioBlitz is a National Geographic Society program.

FAIRFAX, CA — Fairfax residents will be able to learn to be citizen scientists through a town program, they may just have to wait a little though.

Town officials announced its “BioBlitz” event scheduled for Saturday has been postponed.
The event has not yet been rescheduled.

An event organizer cited logistical issues for the postponement. The event was scheduled to be held on private land, but the property owner withdrew use of their land from consideration for this event due to liability concerns.
