FAIRFAX, CA — A Fairfax vegetation blaze that broke out Wednesday has been contained, the town’s Police Department said.

Fire crews will remain on the scene in the area of 140 Willow Ave. to monitor the situation until further notice, police said.

The fire’s severity was described as minor.
