The town on Monday announced the opening of a new playground.
On Saturday, a small group gathered to honor Peri Park’s opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

“A huge thank you to the Parks and Recreation Commission (PARC) for their dedication to this project and to the Town Council for supporting the process every step of the way,” town officials said in a statement.
“Our community will benefit for years to come as kids play on the new structures in this magical park!”

Residents can continue their support for the park and show “Peri Park pride” by purchasing tees and totes, town officials said.
