Fairfax Planning Commission Seeks Applicants

FAIRFAX, CA — The town of Fairfax is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on its Planning Commission.

The commission reviews planning applications and serves as an advisory body to the Town Council on planning policies and regulations, including certain ordinances, and the Town General Plan and Housing Element.

Commission members are expected to bring a broad expertise and experience.

Applicants must be Fairfax residents at least 18 years of age and are required to attend at least one commission meeting.

Applicants to the commission are appointed by the Town Council.

The seven-member commission meets at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.

The deadline to apply is March 29.
