Fairfax Police: Insanity cases, assault six years ago

Wednesday, Aug. 25

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking from 6 a.m. on Madrone Avenue.

Suspicious Vehicle: A landlord on Meernaa Avenue wanted his tenant's car checked out. They say it's a rental, but it doesn't have license plate or look like a rental.

Unwanted Subject: A subject was abated from Good Earth at 9:57 a.m. upon an employee flag down.

Dead Body: A 72-year old died on Toyon Drive at 1:30 p.m.

Fire: A grease pan underneath a barbeque caught on fire at the Creekside Apartments.

Unwanted Subject: A man was singing in front of Fairfax Scoop at 4:38 p.m. with a hole in his pants, exposing his underwear to everyone.

Assault: A third-party wanted to report an assault that occurred in an unknown location six years ago.

Fire: Someone was burning something that smelled very toxic in their fireplace on Willow Avenue at 6:31 p.m.

Insanity Case: There was a walk-in report of a woman acting bizarre on Park Road, in the middle of the street, and not letting traffic go by at 7:16 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 24

Vandalism: Someone vandalized the Charter Oaks Apartments with spray paint over the weekend.

Alcohol Violation: Two males and a female were drinking beer at the end of Pacheco Avenue at 7 p.m.

Alcohol Violation: An officer initiated activity at Peri Park and issued a citation at 7:34 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 23

Trespassing: A subject was found sleeping in the upstairs bathroom at the Fair-Anselm Plaza. When the janitor asked him to leave, he stayed outside and became belligerent at 5:23 a.m.

Insanity Case: A 22-year-old, with a history of mental illness cases, was yelling and screaming on Piper Lane at 9:22 a.m. An arrest was made.

Harassing Phone Calls: A woman on Meernaa Avenue was receiving harassing phone calls regarding a lawsuit that she knows nothing about.

Disturbance: There was a verbal dispute between roommates on Lansdale Avenue at 3:48 p.m. One of the parties left the house.

Trespassing: A former tenant was seen on a property on Olema Road at 7 p.m. and is not allowed on the property.

Unwanted Subject: A subject was at Fairfax Scoop creating a nuisance and being offensive to patrons at 9:46 p.m.
