Flooding, Under Age Drinking and Suspicious Individuals in Robes
The Fairfax Police blotter for Nov. 11-17 includes multiple arrests for public intoxication.

Saturday, Nov. 17
Storm related: 9:26 a.m. Meernaa Avenue. Report of problems with clogged drains. Caller has cleared the one between 67 and 60 Meernaa but would like someone to stay on top of keeping them cleared as this is an ongoing problem every rainy season.

Flooding: 11:01 a.m. Hill Avenue. Street is beginning to flood.
Intoxicated son: 12:48 p.m. Oak Tree Lane. RP [reporting person] would like advice from an officer regarding her son who frequently comes home intoxicated. RP has asked him to leave and he refuses.

Suspicious circumstances: 9:49 p.m. Wood Lane. RP’s parents are gone. RP heard a sound at the back door, and then the dog started barking. RP’s friend then heard footsteps. Occurred less than 5 minutes ago. All the doors are locked.
Public intoxication: 10:08 p.m. Parkade on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Claus Drive. Officers contacted a subject at the steps to the Parkade. Subject gave a false name to officers. Disposition: arrest made.
Noise complaint: 10:20 p.m. Roco Dance and Fitness on Bolinas Road. Anonymous RP reported a loud drumming sound.
Friday, Nov. 16
Public intoxication: 1:58 a.m. Parkade on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Claus Drive. 911 report of a possible DUI attempting to leave now. Disposition: arrest made.
Dead body: 9:47 a.m. Cascade Drive. Officers responded to a call of possible cardiac arrest. Officers found the subject no longer alive.
Public intoxication: 7 p.m. Wreden Avenue. Officer contacted two juveniles. One was drunk, and then the officer discovered additional under-age drinking. Two juveniles were cited and released to their parents.
Tree down: 10:24 p.m. Officer initiated activity at the Fairfax Theatre on Broadway. A tree is down in the parking lot.
Thursday, Nov. 15
Trespassing: 1:39 p.m. Good Earth on Center Blvd. Assistance with a disruptive customer that needs to be removed. It’s a female with a shaved head, wearing a robe.
Disturbance: 4:46 p.m. Sherman Avenue. Verbal argument between brothers. RP had been drinking.
Disturbance: 8:38 p.m. Sherwood Oaks Apartments on Bolinas Road. The child is screaming. Mother is yelling at him to clean up his room. Has been going on for 10 now.
Wednesday, Nov. 14
Blown transformer: 4:28 p.m. Meernaa Avenue and Spring Lane. Ross Valley Fire Department responded to the area for a blown transformer.
Barking dog: 7:54 p.m. Scenic Road. RP said a dog has been barking all day. RP is both irked by the ongoing noise and concerned about the neighbors as she doesn’t think they could be home and listen to that noise and not notice.
Tuesday, Nov. 13
Assault: 3:56 p.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. RP says she was just assaulted by a woman outside the residence.
Stolen bike: 6:26 p.n. Peri Park on Park Road. RP said her mountain bike was stolen roughly an hour ago near the bridge in Peri Park.
Monday, Nov. 12
Stolen bike: 8:01 a.m. Pacheco Avenue. RP said a bike was stolen from his side yard sometime overnight.
Stolen vehicle? 8:37 p.m. Taylor Drive. RP reported his vehicle possibly stolen. RP called back shortly after and cancelled response, saying he had forgotten where he parked the vehicle.
Sunday, Nov. 11
Public intoxication: 2:05 a.m. Officer initiated activity at the 7-Eleven on Bolinas Road. Arrest made.
Suspicious circumstances: 4:49 p.m. Magpie on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. RP said a male customer tried on a robe and acted suspiciously.
