Habitat Restoration: English Ivy Bash on Woodacre Creek

Pulling weeds to save salmon? Come and make the connection with the Watershed Stewards Program and MMWD staff!

Date/Time: Saturday, June 18, 9 AM to 1:00 PM

Location: Revealed with RSVP

English ivy can strangle trees, reducing shade on the creek and increasing water temperatures to levels unsafe for species like coho salmon and steelhead trout. Save trees by removing this invasive species with the Marin Municipal Water District and the Watershed Stewards Project. Volunteer project will be followed by lunch, raffle and face painting. Families with children ages 8 and up encouraged to attend. RSVP for address.
