Marin Blaze Snarls Traffic

Update: The are of Mission Avenue at G Street and Forbes Avenue is still blocked by barricades according to police. The road will remain blocked until further notice, police said late Monday afternoon.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — A structure fire has triggered a traffic advisory for the area of Mission and G streets, the San Rafael Police Department said.

The blaze at a four-unit Victorian in the 300 block of G Street was confined to the garage but there is smoke damage throughout the building according to the San Rafael Fire Department.

No injuries were reported.

The road in the area will continue to be blocked until further notice according to the Fire Department.
