Marin Workshop Aims To Help Residents Cut Carbon Footprint

MILL VALLEY, CA — The Mill Valley Public Library is doing what it can to help residents cut their carbon footprint, one summer Thursday evening at a time.

The Resilient Neighborhoods Climate Action Workshop Series is being held on alternate Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through early August (July 1, July 15, July 29 and Aug. 12).

The series launched June 17.

Residents can calculate their carbon footprint and taking steps to reduce it at this workshop.

The workshop provides support and access to local resources to personalize climate action plan and make households more resilient to droughts, wildfires, and power outages.

“You will achieve measurable results in five meetings, guaranteed!” city officials said in a statement announcing the virtual event.
