Mount Tamalpais Watershed Closed After Storm Slams Marin County

MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Mount Tamalpais Watershed was closed to the public on Sunday, water officials said.
According to Marin Municipal Water District officials, the closure is due to increased risk of mudslides, rock slides, falling trees and failed stream crossings.
Multiple roads and gates in and around the watershed were also closed.

The watershed, roads and gates will reopen to the public after the storm passes and crews can cleanup debris.
