Police: Out of Control Juvenile Party, Car Fire

Monday, Feb. 20
Disturbing the Peace: There was an anonymous report of a verbal and physical altercation between a man and woman on San Anselmo Avenue at 1:07 p.m. It was determined it was verbal only. They were counseled and went to bed.

Assist Fire: A car exploded in the backyard of a residence on Rutherford Avenue at 4:09 p.m. Officers provided traffic control, while the fire department handled the matter.
Assault: Two subjects were fighting on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:17 p.m. Officers couldn’t find the involved parties. Shortly after, four subjects came into the police department stating they were involved and one in their party was injured after being hit on the head with a glass bottle.

Non-Injury Collision with DUI Driver: There was a collision involving a DUI driver on Santa Barbara Avenue at 9:24 p.m. The driver was arrested for DUI. She was cleared medically and then booked into the county jail.
Sunday, Feb. 19
Disturbing the Peace: Two men were yelling on Ross Avenue at 12:34 a.m. Officers contacted both subjects and determined they were having a verbal argument.
Petty Theft: A resident had a party at his house on San Anselmo Avenue and during that time items were taken.
Hit and Run: A resident reported that their son witnessed a hit and run collision on Sequoia Drive at 3:40 p.m.
Municipal Code Violation: Dogs were off leash at Isabel Cook at 4:45 p.m.
Hit and Run: A car sideswiped two parked cars and left the scene on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:36 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Juveniles: Eight juveniles, who appeared to be around 15-years-old, ran through a carport on San Anselmo Avenue at 12:27 a.m. A resident heard one say, “That wasn’t a cop,” before they sped off in a truck towards Saunders Avenue. Contact was made with four juveniles, who were abated from the area.
Suspicious Person: A subject broke into a garage on Yolanda Drive and was engaged in narcotic activity in the backyard.
Suspicious Person: A resident reported that the subject from earlier was seen again on San Anselmo Avenue at 1:32 p.m.
Collision – Minor Injury: Multiple residents reported a collision at Red Hill and Sequoia Avenues at 1:33 p.m. Medics responded.
Driving on a Suspended License: An officer arrested a woman at a traffic stop at Saunders and Berlin Avenues at 7:37 p.m. for driving on a suspended license. The car was left parked at the scene.
Juveniles: Multiple callers reported a loud juvenile party on San Anselmo Avenue at 10:10 p.m. One caller estimed there were over 100 juveniles with possible underage drinking. The resident claimed he was just going to have a few friends over, but “word got out on facebook.” Contact was made with the mother via phone, who requested everyone leave. Units stood by as the party was dispersed.
Juveniles: An officer stood by while a large group of juveniles was dispersed on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:40 p.m.
Juveniles: An officer was with a vehicle with five subjects on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:32 p.m. Four were sent on their way and the fifth was escorted home.
Friday, Feb. 17
Barking Dog: A dog was barking somewhere on Floribel Avenue at 2:13 a.m.
Battery: There was a 9-1-1 call from a number on Forrest Avenue at 10:33 a.m. and attempts to call back were met with negative results. Officers contacted the subjects and a report was taken for domestic battery.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident said her father asked her to call and have officers respond to his residence on San Francisco Boulevard about his roommates driving his car without permission.
Suspicious Circumstances: For the past week, someone had been forwarding their mail to a resident’s address on Woodside Drive.
Burglary: A burglary occurred on San Anselmo Avenue at 7:08 p.m. A man was arrested for commercial burglary and booked at the county jail.
Juveniles: Ten juveniles were “hanging around” on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11 p.m.
Juveniles: Four male juveniles threw beer cans on the ground on Allyn Avenue at 11:56 p.m. and then went to a possible juvenile party across the street. It was determined a party got out of hand and was dispersed.
