Possible Gunshots and a Missing Dog

Thursday, Feb. 23

Assist Outside Agency: An officer initiated activity on Cascade Drive at 7:12 a.m. and an arrest was made.

Hazard: Water was running off the rooftop at Fair-Anselm and a resident was worried about the area flooding.

Civil Problem: A neighbor dispute by Marin Tack and Feed over junk left outside.

Assist Outside Agency: Officers assisted in the child porn raids conducted in Novato and San Rafael.

Shots Fired: A resident reported hearing gunshots fired around 7:45 p.m. in the area of Frustuck Avenue and Bolinas Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

Animal: A dog named Coby got out around midnight on Mono Avenue.

Theft: A resident reported that her ring was taken while she was in the hospital sometime between November and January.

Accident – No Injury: A driver struck the security gate on Cascade Drive.

Animal: A small brown poodle was running in and out of traffic on Bolinas Road.

Miscellaneous Service: Street measurements were taken at Pastori and Lansdale Avenues.

Suspicious Circumstances: An employee at Yeah Baby wanted to speak to an officer about a customer who was followed by a man in a van.

Animal: A dog was lying in the street on Porteous Avenue at 5:24 p.m. The dog owner responded.

Barking Dog: A dog is left on the upper deck of a residence on Dominga Avenue all day and barks for periods throughout the day.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity in the lower Pavilion lot at 2:35 a.m.

Suspicious Person: A resident saw a man harassing employees at the Java Hut. When he asked the employees if they were ok, they said they were keeping on eye on the man.

Citizen Assist: A child fell off a bike at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Marin Road. An officer determined the child was ok and his mother was with him.

Driving on a Suspended License: An officer initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:07 p.m. and a citation was issued.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking all day on Ridge Road.

Welfare Check: A child was crying and screaming at the Sherwood Oaks Apartments for ten minutes. The mother was yelling too.

Noise: Subjects, possibly intoxicated, were being loud on the ballfield at 8:20 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity on School Street and a citation was issued.

Noise: A resident requested a decibel reading at her residence because of the noise Top Hat Cleaners was making.
