San Anselmo Applicants Sought For Oversight Committee
There are four openings on the seven-member Capital Program Monitoring Committee.
SAN ANSELMO, CA — San Anselmo is seeking residents for a key oversight committee.
The town is looking to fill four open seats on the seven-member Capitol Program Monitoring Committee.
This committee oversees the implementation of Measure D sales tax revenues and other public funds.

Voters approved the half-cent sales tax to fund capital improvements.
Funds from other public sources including the town's General Fund will also be under the committee's purview.

Two councilmembers and two town staff liaisons will serve on the committee in advisory roles.
"The committee's charge is to issue an annual public report summarizing the progress of capital improvement projects funded by Measure D, as well as capital improvement projects funded by other sources of Town funding," the town wrote on its website announcing the committee openings.
The town is seeking residents with expertise in finance (preferably public finance), engineering (and/or construction) or public communication. The committee members will be expected to be familiar with various aspects of San Anselmo community life.
