San Anselmo Collisions Send Two to the Hospital
A vehicle hit a pedestrian Thursday morning on Sir Francis Drake Blvd., sending a 79-year-old man to Marin General Hospital, and in the afternoon a two-car crash on Center Blvd. sent a 70-year-old man to the hospital.
Two Marin residents ended up in the hospital after two seperate accidents in San Anselmo on Thursday, Dec. 13.
On Thursday morning, at 7:40 a.m., a grey Toyota Matrix hit a pedestrian at 1608 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. near Kent Avenue. The pedestrian, a 79-year-old man from Point Reyes Station, was taken to the hospital after complaining about lower back pain, according to San Anselmo Police Corporal Sethi Jervan. No other information about the accident was immediately available.

Around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, a blue Toyota Prius and a black Mazda Miata collided at Center Blvd. and Saunders Avenue. The driver of a Prius, a 70-year-old man from San Geronimo, was transported to Marin General Hospital for an undetermined medical condition. The driver of the Mazda was a 63-year-old Fairfax woman, Jervan said.
Both cars were towed from the scene.
