San Anselmo Suspect Attempted To Lure Girl Into His Vehicle: Cops

The incident occurred Friday at around 2 p.m. in the area of High School 1327 (formerly known as Drake High) according to police.

SAN ANSELMO, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect who tried to lure a 15-year-old girl into his vehicle Friday in San Anselmo, police said.

The incident occurred at around 2 p.m. in the area of High School 1327 (formerly known as Drake High), the Central Marin Police Authority said in a statement.

The male suspect told the girl he'd been contacted by her parents and told to pick her up after school, police said.

The suspect left the area after the High School 1327 student ignored his claims according to police.

The suspect is described as a white man, about six feet tall with a muscular build with a tattoo on his forearm, police said. He was wearing a black hat, aviator sunglasses, a light-colored plaid shirt and black military style boots. He was described as being un-kept.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a possible black Honda Accord or something similar, police said.
