Scooter Rider Killed In Crash With Vehicle In Fairfax

Fairfax police are investigating a fatal collision between an electric scooter and a BMW X5.

FAIRFAX, CA — Fairfax police are investigating a fatal collision between an electric scooter and vehicle in Fairfax last week.

The collision happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at 27 Creek Road, Fairfax police said.

The Marin County coroner's office said the scooter rider, David Dunne, 74, of Fairfax, died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.

The Fairfax police incident log identified the vehicle involved in the collision as a BMW X5. The collision is under investigation, police said.
