Spotted: Conan O'Brien at Comforts
Lanky funny man and talk show host dines at home-style restaurant on San Anselmo Ave. during lunchtime Saturday.
Marin has no shortage of celebrity sightings, but most of them are famous musicians who live in our own backyard.
We received a number of reports from local residents Saturday that Conan O'Brien, the lanky, red-haired comedian and host of an eponymous late-night talk show on TBS, was seen eating at Comforts on San Anselmo Avenue.
We checked with store officials, who confirmed that the funny man ate lunch there around noon Saturday. They didn't know exactly why O'Brien was in town, nor what he ordered.

O'Brien's Twitter account provided no hints either. His latest Tweet, from around 12 p.m. Saturday, said, "The ShamWow guy just used the ShamWow on my windshield with his squeegee."
