Take Care Out There: North Bay Flash Flood Watch Issued

The notice is in effect through Sunday evening.

MARIN COUNTY, CA - A flash flood watch is in effect until Sunday evening for the North Bay's mountains, interior valleys and coast, including Pt. Reyes National Seashore, National Weather Service officials said.

The watch is in effect until 6 p.m. and means conditions could develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding can be life-threatening.

Recent periods of rain that have saturated the soil and swollen small creeks and streams could lead to flash flooding Sunday, weather officials said.
