Threats Made Against Dog and 'Strange Vibes'

Thursday, Feb. 23

Vehicle Complaint: A car was leaking some kind of fluid on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:30 p.m. Officers determined it was just water.

Fraud: A resident received phone calls from a subject, who said he was the winner of a sweepstakes.

Burglary: An unknown subject attempted to gain access to a residence on Oak Springs Drive through a window. Officers determined that it appeared as though the screen had just fallen out.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that his daughter took their dog outside and the dog barked at a neighbor on Scenic Avenue. The neighbor then made threats about hurting the dog.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

Driving on a Suspended License: At a traffic stop on San Anselmo Avenue at 9:56 a.m., an officer determined a man was driving on a suspended license. The car was towed and stored.

Suspicious Person: There was a subject in a sleeping bag on Greenfield Avenue at 12:26 p.m.

Driving without a Valid License: At a traffic stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Sunnyhills Drive at 1:15 p.m., a woman was determined to be driving without a valid license. She was cited and released and the car was left legally parked.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking at a residence on Timothy Avenue at 3:56 p.m. and it’s been an ongoing problem.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident heard noises outside and wanted the area on Bridge Avenue checked at 3:12 a.m. Officers checked the area, but didn’t find anything.

Animal: A skunk was caught in a fence on Oak Springs Drive at 10:36 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man and woman were panhandling on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:07 p.m. and were asked to leave and complied. A resident was concerned they gave him a “strange vibe.” Officers informed him no crime had been committed.

Petty Theft: Several planters were taken on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Disturbing the Peace: A man and woman were having an argument on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:09 p.m. Officers determined it was only a loud discussion.
