The tiny house was built by Big Skills Tiny Homes (BSTH); who provides high school graduates a hand-on program in the trades, by learning to build a Tiny House.

We’re pleased to announce that our first cohort of 3 students (2 male, 1 female) has just graduated from the construction skills and career planning program; they completed this beautiful tiny house (see their graduation: https://youtu.be/UVoPEy_9ifI and tour the tiny house: https://youtu.be/CkduuvwIw78 )

Despite the challenges of COVID-19 we finished! And are moving forward with our end of the year auction. All proceeds from the auction are necessary to fund our next round of students. The buyer of this tiny house is supporting our community by providing much needed construction training and career planning. They are providing a unique hands-on real world experience with an extensive year long curriculum, focused on construction skills and self-discovery, all centered around building another tiny house. There will be an opportunity for the buyer to meet the students who built this tiny house, and who can best express just how valuable this program really is.

Tiny House Description-

Basics: Width:8’6″, Length:18’ house, Height: 13’, Square Footage: 140, Sleeps: 2 people, Dry Weight: 9,000 lb

Outside: Painted Cedar siding, Black metal Roof, LED lights, Hose bib, GFI power outlet, Mini Split heat pump, for heating and cooling

Kitchen: Stainless steel sink with inserts, Under counter refrigerator, Built in Microwave/ hood vent, Cedar butcher block counters, Custom Redwood shelves, Double induction stove

Bathroom: RV toilet (very low water use) with standard toilet hookups, 32” square Shower, Tiled wall Tile Floor

Office/Dining: Custom Dining Table/Deck, Versatile two leaf design with chair storage, Cork laminate flooring, Recessed LED lights , USB outlets

Bedroom: Full Bed, Very large Custom drawers, Entertainment unit, Shelves
