White Hill Robotics Team Needs Online Votes

Have you cast your vote online to support the White Hill Middle School Robotics team's invention?

 

The local seventh and eighth graders in the White Hill robotics team are hoping the community will help them earn online votes for an international award.

White Hill Middle School’s RoboManiacs garnered the second place ‘Innovative Solution’ award recently at the First Lego League NorCal Championships for their ‘Sherlook Homz’ invention, which uses RFID technologies and a mobile app to help seniors with memory problems locate lost items.

They have advanced to the online-only competition for the FLL Global Innovative award, competing with teams from across the globe.

White Hill is capitalizing on the success of its robotics program by expanding it to include two elective classes for 7th and 8th graders in the 2013-2014 school year.
