Burglary Suspects Sought By San Mateo Co. Sheriff's Deputies
A neighbor to a home on Melendy Drive witnessed two men running out of the residence and flee in a silver Infiniti on Friday night.
SAN CARLOS, CA — A quick-reacting resident heard an alarm in the neighborhood and saw two men dressed in black running from the home in the 3100 block of Melendy Drive Friday night, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department reported.
Now sheriff's deputies seek the public's help finding two Hispanic men who fled at about 7:47 p.m. on the east side of the residence in a silver 4-door Infiniti with paper license plates. Beyond the black clothing, the driver was seen wearing a black baseball cap.
The suspect vehicle drove eastbound on Melendy Drive and was last seen heading toward Alameda De Las Pulgas. Deputies searched the area for the vehicle but were unable locate it.

During a search of the residence, deputies located a shattered rear glass sliding door. The homeowners returned home, took an inventory of their belongings and reported nothing taken during the burglary.
The investigation is ongoing. Sheriff's deputies are asking anyone in the area with security cameras to review their surveillance footage from Sept. 13 for the authorities to use as possible evidence.
