Free Ice Cream At Rita's In San Carlos On Wednesday

We've already had a taste of spring with glorious sunshine and warmth the past several days, but Rita’s Italian Ice wants us to taste spring in an entirely different way — with their 27th annual free Italian Ice giveaway. It will take place on Wednesday, March 20.

Rita’s expects to give away more than one million cups of their classic Italian Ice.

And how does free Rita’s for a year sound? Snap a photo showing how excited you are about the First Day of Spring. Post it on social media using #RitasFirstDayofSpringContest between March 20 and 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on March 22.

"We’re so excited to celebrate First Day of Spring with our Italian Ice giveaway, it’s the perfect way to kick off spring with a sweet start," said Linda Chadwick, Rita’s President and CEO. "Guests are welcomed into Rita’s on this fun day to try our delicious fresh-made Italian Ice in a variety of flavors, it’ll be hard to choose one!"

Rita's will also celebrate the First Day of Spring by introducing Brookie Dough Cream Ice flavor, a combination of cookie dough and brownie bites.

Rits'a Italian Ice is made daily with real fruit and award-winning Frozen Custard.
