Heavy Rain Coming To San Carlos: Detailed Weather Forecast
Widespread rainfall is predicted to hit the Bay Area this week.

SAN CARLOS, CA — The Bay Area is expected to be doused with rain this work week, as a storm enters the region, the National Weather Service says.
"An approaching upper level system will result in the potential for widespread rainfall beginning over the North Bay late tonight and across the remainder of the region Tuesday morning," the NWS said Monday morning. "Showers will linger into early Wednesday morning before conditions dry out for the remainder of the week."

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night
A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 57. West southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming north in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 74. Light and variable wind becoming north northwest 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Northwest wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday
A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. West southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
