Highlands Park Partly Closed Off Temporarily: City Of San Carlos

As part of a larger project, the city is fixing lights poles and fixtures in a range of play and recreation sections of the park.

SAN CARLOS, CA — Certain areas of Highlands Park has closed until Sept. 13 intermittently for work on light poles and fixtures, the city of San Carlos reported.

City crews are expected to move in heavy equipment to upgrade the lower athletic field, playground tennis courts, restrooms and parking lots. There will be limited access to the Upper Stadium during this time.

The job is part of the Highlands Park and Burton Park Field Lighting Replacement Project.
