Man Accused Of Stealing Nearly $1,000 From San Carlos CVS
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a San Carlos CVS Pharmacy on Wednesday.

SAN CARLOS, CA — A 25-year-old man has been arrested after police said he stole $965 worth of merchandise from a CVS Pharmacy in San Carlos Wednesday evening.
Police responded around 7:10 p.m. Wednesday to a reported shoplifting at the CVS on San Carlos Avenue. A suspect was seen leaving the store without paying for merchandise and walking east on San Carlos Avenue, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's office.
Police found and arrested the suspect, Mason Nichols, of San Francisco, while he was leaving the CVS parking lot. Officers found he was in possession of the stolen merchandise, as well as a credit card, an employee identification card not belonging to him, and a usable amount of what appeared to be fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

Nichols was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on a felony charge of commercial burglary and misdemeanor charges of appropriation of lost property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
