Public Safety Day Hosted By San Carlos
The San Carlos Avenue event allows citizens to explore and understand the inner workings of police, fire and public works operations.

SAN CARLOS, CA — Keeping the community safe is something San Carlos is all about.
That's why this San Francisco Peninsula community is hosting on Sunday its third annual Public Safety Fair, which allows citizens to get up close and personal with the city's police, fire, and public works departments.
Representatives will be on-hand to provide community members with information about staying safe in their homes and preparing for a disaster. Children will get a chance to explore police cruisers and fire trucks. All is invited to chat with local police officers.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 600 block of Laurel Street at San Carlos Avenue and Cherry Street next to the Farmers' Market .
