San Carlos Child Molestation Suspect Arrested

SAN CARLOS, CA — A San Carlos man was arrested on suspicion of molesting a 15-year-old girl, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said.

The alleged incident occurred Oct. 28 at the suspect's home according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Leonardo Rivera, 33, was arrested after the girl’s mother reported the incident to authorities, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities believe this to be an isolated incident.

Rivera was booked into San Mateo County jail according to the Sheriff’s Office.
