San Carlos DUI Checkpoint Results In Arrest
A DUI checkpoint set up in San Carlos last week resulted in one arrest and multiple citations, police said.
SAN CARLOS, CA — A DUI checkpoint set up in San Carlos last week resulted in one driver's arrest due to a history of driving with a suspended or revoked license for a previous DUI, the San Mateo County Sheriff's office said Tuesday.
The checkpoint was set up Friday between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. at an unspecified location. The checkpoint screened 448 vehicles, of which 2 were cited for driving without a license, in additionto the arrest.
The county sheriff's office plans to conduct more DUI saturation patrols throughout the holiday season.
