San Carlos Opens Cooling Centers On Peninsula
The city will maintain hours through 9 p.m. Wednesday for its Adult Community Center on Chestnut and library on Elm.

SAN CARLOS, CA — With the heat teasing or breaking records Wednesday and continuing into Thursday, the "City of Good Living" has opened its heart and designated cooling centers as a way for its citizens to beat the heat.
One may find relief at the San Carlos Library located at 610 Elm St. or the city's Adult Community Center at 601 Chestnut St. for a nice reprieve. Both facilities will be open until 9 p.m.
The National Weather Service indicated Peninsula highs will near 100 over the next two days.
