San Carlos Residents To Gain Access To Solar, EV Programs
The city of San Carlos is inviting residents who want to go with energy efficient power for both home and vehicle may sign up on Aug. 1.
SAN CARLOS, CA — The city's SunShares programs opens for registration on Aug. 1st.
SunShares is a renewable energy program that provides easy access to affordable solar or electric vehicle purchases to San Francisco Bay Area residents. SunShares offers a 15 percent discount on solar installation from pre-vetted solar providers and a generous discount on select EVs.
There's also a federal solar tax credit that participants may sign up for.
