Capistrano USD Opens Fall 2021 Classroom Safety Survey

Should desks be 6 feet apart? 4 feet apart? What can families expect when their kids return to class this fall? There's a survey for that.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Parents in the Capistrano Unified School District are being surveyed on their expectations for returning to school in the fall of 2021.

Though the district hopes to California Department of Public Health guidelines for public schools, especially guidelines around surrounding social distancing.

"In the event that CDPH guidelines do not allow us to open our schools under normal conditions, we will have alternative plans in place," a district spokesperson said.

On Wednesday the CUSD Board of Trustees will begin a public review and discussion of our Fall 2021 school opening plans.

"Your voice is essential to this conversation," they said. "We invite you to share your feedback in this brief survey." Review current guidelines here.
