Ortega Highway Reopens After Holy Fire
The Ortega Highway has reopened in both directions following the Holy Fire closure, according to the U. S. Forest Service.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — After over a week of road closures, the State Route 74 Ortega Highway has reopened to through traffic, according to the U. S. Forest Service.
California Highway Patrol Capistrano division has confirmed the reopening of the curvy stretch of road that takes Orange County drivers into Riverside County and vice versa.
The road is "clear and ready to go" both directions, according to CHP.
