Powerball Winning Numbers For March 3, 2018: Two Win Big In SoCal

Play Powerball? Two lucky SoCal ticket holders matched 5 numbers, minus the Powerball, to win over $250,000. Was one of them yours?

Did you play Powerball on Saturday March 3, 2018? If you bought a ticket in Northridge or San Marcos this might be good news for you. Two lucky ticket holders in Southern California matched five, minus the Powerball, to earn a whopping $265,900.

In Northridge, the winning match 5 ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven store on the 8700 block of Corbin Street. In San Marcos, the winning match 5 ticket was sold at the Circle Market on the 200 block of South Rancho Santa Fe.

Those winning numbers, for March 3, 2018 were: 13, 17, 25, 36, 40 and the Powerball number was 5.

No one matched five plus the Powerball to win the whole $321 million, and the jackpot will continue to grow for Wednesday's drawing. According to the California Lottery Association, there are 143,641 winning tickets that earned at least $4, so check yours.

This was the drawing was the 15th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
