Powerball Winning Numbers Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018

It's Powerball time again, and that jackpot is continuing to grow. Wednesday night's drawing reached nearly $250 Million. Did you play?

We're doing a little bit of daydreaming here at Patch today. There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Wednesday evening's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to grow to $269 million.

There were also no tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.

A Match 5 Winners Power Play ticket was sold in Florida and is worth $2 million. In California, 105,905 tickets won at least $4 and at most over $18,000, according to the California Lottery Association.

The numbers drawn Wednesday were 7, 15, 31, 34, 36 and the Powerball number was 8 The estimated jackpot was $246 million.

The drawing was the 12th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
