Ralphs Recalls Spinach with Possible Salmonella

Officials advise you return Private Selection baby spinach for a full refund.

A Ralphs-brand bag of baby spinach may be contaminated with salmonella, according to Food Safety News.

Officials are recalling Private Selections Organic Baby Spinach in a 5 oz. package. The product, which is sold at the San Juan Capistrano , has UPC number 0-11110-91128-5 and a best-by date of 5-25-12.

Salmonella was detected during a random U.S. Department of Agriculture inspection, according to Food Safety News.
