SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — The polls are now closed in San Juan Capistrano. From San Juan Capistrano City Hall to the White House, Tuesday’s election is crucial. Voters have marked their ballots for their chosen leaders, on tax measures, and proposals that will shape California for generations to come.

Now that everyone's cast their votes, the question is: So who won? What passed or failed?

In San Juan Capistrano's City Council race, as of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Howard Hart was leading with 65.37 percent over John Alpay, at 34.63 percent.
