ANAHEIM, CA — The adventures onboard Star Tours at Disneyland are set to continue even as the Star Wars nine story franchise is drawing to a close.

Disneyland Resort announced this week that the fan favorite ride, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue — is offering flights to new destinations coinciding with the release of “The Rise of Skywalker” on Dec. 20, 2019.

If you've seen the trailer, you will notice Rey taking on Kylo Ren on a strange world with oceans and a downed space station.

Every time you board a Starspeeder 1000, passengers have secret hopes on where in the galaxy their destination might lead even while sitting frozen to attempt to be chosen as the next rebel spy.

One of the best parts of the ride, in this editor's opinion, is never knowing where C-3PO and R2-D2 will take you. And no, we don't miss pod racing all that much.

The Starspeeder 1000 departs daily from the Disneyland Resort.
