Traffic Alert: Ortega Highway Slow After Single Car Crash

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA —Drivers heading eastbound on the State Route 74 were at a standstill after a single car crash at mile marker 14, California Highway Patrol told Patch.

One vehicle was on its side, and the driver had climbed out the window on her own, according to witness reports. CHP officers were on the way, and Orange County Fire Authority was also responding to the scene, they said.

The vehicle came to rest on the right shoulder, officers said.
